Good friends. Hello again from Chicago. Wow. Another great day, another inspiring day at the Democracy Convention, now called the Freedom Convention, and a great program last night filled with a lot of powerful speeches. I was so impressed with the future

of this party on display. Sure, the highlight was veteran former president Bill Clinton,

who did a good job, not a great job, I think, but his presence is so important.

He is still a great communicator.

What really struck me was, again, the future of the party on display with Hakeem Jeffries and Josh Shapiro and Governor Westmore and Secretary Pete Buttigieg. Wow, this party's got a great bench. And of course, the leader of that bench is Kamala Harris, who will tonight

accept the nomination for president. The big surprise last night, of course, was Oprah wasn't

announced until the program was just getting underway when CNN broke the

news that Oprah was going to be there. I thought she was fantastic. She looked great. She exuded such
