| 0:08.2 | aligned with the truth of God's Word today. We are starting a new series today, leading |
| 0:13.4 | up to the Christmas holidays here in 2022, and it's a study on the issue of joy. Joy! |
| 0:21.8 | The Christmas story itself has a lot of commentary made about joy relating to Jesus' birth, |
| 0:27.5 | so I just thought joy would be a good subject for us to delve into as we look into the |
| 0:31.9 | scripture. So I hope you'll stick around for the next few weeks as we dig into what |
| 0:35.8 | the scripture says about joy. Now, first off, let me say this, coming up on Friday, we |
| 0:41.0 | have our pray together episode. When I pray for requests that people have submitted |

| 1:01.1 | together for the needs that have been submitted. If you have a request that you would like |
| 1:04.9 | to have submitted, you can go to carrygreen.com slash prayer. That link is in the description |

| 1:27.4 | leaders who returned from a captivity or an exile that Israel had been under in Babylon. |
| 1:36.3 | And Nehemiah came back during the time that Babylon had been conquered by Persia. And |
| 1:40.8 | so he came back during the Persian period and he began rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem. |
| 1:47.5 | And from all that we can tell in the book of Nehemiah, he was a very godly man. He was |
| 1:51.8 | a man who not only wanted to rebuild the wall, he wanted to rebuild the people. And so |
| 1:56.8 | here in Nehemiah chapter 8 verse number 10, he's encouraging the people after a time of |
