We're in a series called The Key to Everything, and we're talking about giving and the different

aspects of giving and how it relates to us, not just in resources, but also in relationships.

And we've talked quite a bit about relationships and I'm going to talk a little

about resources and how it relates to us, all right? The title of this message is The Joy of Giving.

The Joy of Giving. is the joy of giving joy of giving now let me tell you a little bit about my my father my father is the the biggest giver I know he He has a huge giving heart. He loves to give. He just

loves to give. And a few years ago he said to me come out here and we went out to his

workshop and he has a safe out in

his workshop where he keeps valuable papers and things like that and he did this

combination this big crank thing you know and he opened up the safe and he pulled out this

box and he showed me three boxes within that box and it was like a bracelet and

some earrings and a necklace that he bought for my mom.

Now he has been buying extravagant gifts for my mother for as long as I can remember.

It's always a big deal and he will always give her at Christmas.

He'll give her something, you know, like a toaster, you know, and we all know that's not

it and then he'll wait five or ten minutes

and then he'll say, oh, there's one more present

under the tree.

Like we don't know what's going on.

And then it's a diamond ring or something.

I mean, he just loves to lavish gifts on my mother and so anyway

he showed me he said look look look he said I just couldn't pass these a

necklace a bracelet and some earrings they all match and he said I'm going to give this one to her for her birthday.
