In our world, there is so much sorrow, misery, and sadness.

We see indicators all around us that reveal to us that most people are looking for something,

anything, that can bring them true joy. In this study on joy,

with our victorious Lord into our eternal home. Oh, what a joy it's going to be. What a joy

awaits us on the other side. We're talking about the joy of a triumphant entrance. Now, when you talk about

the triumphal entry of Jesus, you go back in your mind to him riding into the old city of

Jerusalem, presented to Israel. They cried Hosanna, blessed is he that cometh in the name of the

Lord. And of course, just a few days later, the same mob would cry,

crucify him. Oh, how fickle the human heart, the sinful heart of man. That is typically referred

to as his triumphant entrance, his triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Well, we know that the real

triumphal entry happened after his ascension.

When he went back into heaven, the psalmist describes that for us. Who is this king of glory,

the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle? Lift up your heads, oh, your gates. Be lift up

your everlasting doors, and the king of glory shall come in. So there was a day when the resurrected ascended Christ went back into heaven,

sat down at the right hand of the Heavenly Father,

and like the conquerors of ancient time, I tell you,
