We live in a fast-paced, ever-moving world where everyone seems to be rushing in every direction.

And yet, in scripture, God desires to teach us that walking with him is our greatest and most important adventure.

You know him. As a matter of fact, in 1st Kings chapter number 18, Elijah has had one of those

great moments, a great victory on Mount Carmel, and you would think in the aftermath of that,

all would be well. But in fact, when you come to 1st Kings chapter 19, the Bible says,

and Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and with all how he'd slain all the prophets

with the sword, then Jezebel sent a messenger under Elijah saying, so let the gods do to me and

more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.

I mean, this is a man. It's like everything turned in a moment. Remember this. Everything God is doing in your life, Satan hates. So when the Lord is at work,

gets glory. The devil pokes his ugly head up. Maybe that's where you're living today. And so he's

running for his life, much like David that we read about recently,
