David Perry is one of the best-known video game industry veterans, with multiple #1 hits and the Develop - Development Legend award, a keynote speaker, and CEO & Co-Founder - eCommerce Network Carro, a platform that is promoting a collaboration between brands, connecting online retailers, and diversify their product offerings. It offers a distinctive, risk-free technique for inventory expansion and is paving the way for the future of e-commerce with a thriving network that has over 28,000 installed brands and a catalog of more than one million products.
Earlier to Carro, Perry's last company Gaikai was acquired by Sony PlayStation to take the lead in cloud-based video game streaming in the future that is called PlayStation Now. Prior to that, he was the Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Acclaim Entertainment, helping introduce "free-to-play" gaming to the Western markets. Disney acquired Acclaim. He also created the video game production studio Shiny Entertainment, which was later bought by Interplay for the rights to the Earthworm Jim, and Atari for Matrix game franchises, respectively.
David is passionate in making video games and building technology. He always thinking about the future of video game industry that everything he makes in his life is digital. He thought that although money didn't actually alter him as a person, it did alter the way he used it to advance and broaden his goal, interests, and passions!
