I'm doing well as well. We recently saw each other in person. It was very exciting.

It was a real thrill. It was, you know, reminded me that we're all human.

Oh, allegedly. Okay. Maybe it was a hologram. I was a hologram and you didn't know, but we are here today.

I think I forced to hug on you. So I'm pretty sure you are real.

No, I was in force. I'm a hugger too, but it's awkward.

When you haven't seen someone for like two years, trust me.

I like what do we do here? Oh, it's work. And it's like one of the rules, but that's so true.

So many podcasts together and so many years of knowing each other at this point of course you got to embrace.

Anyway, this is not a podcast about hugging.

Believe it or not, we're here today to talk about what has been the biggest celebrity story for about the last three weeks.

And we've been monitoring it and digesting it. And I think we just feel pretty gross about it.

But we're going to talk it out here on this pod. And that of course is the ongoing trial, defamation trial being held in northern Virginia between Johnny Depp and Amber Herd who used to date and are no longer together.

It's been a pretty gnarly and sensational trial. Also just want to note, this is like the second trial. It already occurred in the UK.
