Yesterday, we played a clip from the San Francisco supervisor Dean Preston.

It is fascinating how people up there put up with the tenderloin district for years and years, literally thousands of drug addicts. It's an open-air drug

market that stretches from many blocks. And it's almost all men. And they're busy injecting

heroin, snorting meth. Fentanyl, the fentanyl has xyasein in it, which causes their bodies to rot.

They're also, you see these people in the street and at some point they become like street sculpture.

They're stiff, slightly tilted, as if they're going to fall, but they don't quite

tip over completely. And, you know, their brains are destroyed. And, you know, one day they

overdose. And I guess somebody zips them up in a body bag and on, on with the day. And there's

thousands of them. And Dean Prestston is the supervisor and you may

be shocked to find out that he's a full-blown admitted socialist and the other day in public

he actually said this in a a british news documentary dean preston says it's the whole drug addiction, public open air market issue is because

of capitalism.

happens in capitalism to the people at the bottom runs.
