We are down to the final days of George Gascon.

I believe he will take over on about December the 2nd.

So what are we got?

We got 18 days left in November.

And then two more days after that, we're talking about 20 days of George Gascon. I assume that in 20 days he can't do much more damage. He's done so

much. And the people who are going to be able to work with a far smaller burden on them is the deputy DAs.

I mean, there's hundreds of prosecutors in the L.A. County DA's office who've had to deal with

Gascon and they had to keep trying to build cases and prosecute criminals and try to put them

away. And Gascon was this huge impediment, undermining their work.

Michelle Hennessey, who is the president of the Association of Los Angeles Deputy District

attorneys wrote a piece today about what she calls the unseen heroes who stood against

Gascon. Let's get Michelle on to talk more about it.

Because, you know, this is a good news month in many ways.
