| 0:24.1 | Six months ago, U.T. Trump was dealing with 34 counts that he was convicted of in New York City |
| 0:29.8 | in one trial. And there were, what, three, four other federal and state trials up against him in Florida and Washington and Atlanta. |
| 0:38.9 | And he had that civil trial where they wanted hundreds of billions of dollars in penalties. |
| 0:44.6 | A lot of these trials have been in suspense for the rest of the year, have not progressed for all kinds of reasons. |
| 0:53.8 | But what happens if Trump wins? |
| 0:56.2 | What happens to all these trials? |
| 0:58.8 | What happens if he loses? |
| 1:00.6 | We're going to talk to where else. |
| 1:01.8 | And of course it depends, John, on whether we're talking about state cases or federal cases. |

| 1:11.1 | issue a pardon only is to federal charges. Now, some people say, well, you shouldn't be able |
| 1:15.4 | to pardon yourself, but most scholars think he probably can do it because there are exceptions |

| 1:25.4 | So that if he wins is available to him. |
| 1:28.3 | But they're kind of an inside baseball angle that I haven't heard anybody else talk about, John, |
| 1:33.3 | and that is the issue of, well, if Trump wins, he could have his new attorney general, |
| 1:37.3 | just fire Jack Smith, and dismiss all of the prosecutions. |
| 1:41.3 | The fact is, judges don't have to dismiss cases even if the prosecutors agree |
