Now let's talk with Susan Shelley from the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.

Measure A would double the sales tax money being used for homelessness, which has been a big failure

in LA County. Right now there's a quarter cent sales tax. It would replace it with a half

cent sales tax. And they want a billion dollars a year for shelters, housing services.

Ever since 2017, when the original tax passed, homelessness has gotten much, much worse.

So I'm not an idiot. I'm not going to vote for measure A to give them more

money after they failed for seven years and made the problem far worse. Let's get Susan
