All right. Another day on the Christopher Hubbert case, he's the pillowcase rapist. And if you feel like you've heard this before, it's because you have. He's had 50 years of raping women here in Los Angeles County and elsewhere. He was convicted 1973, 1982, 1990, at least 40 rapes on the books. And, you know,

he takes pillowcases, pulls them over the victim's head and rapes them sometimes repeatedly,

sometimes in front of the women's children. We could go on for hours about all the horrific things he's done.

And they keep releasing him from mental hospitals.

In 2014, he was released from Kalinga State Hospital.

Then he was put back in.

And we're gonna talk with Karen Thorpe.

We spoke with her yesterday at length for our deputy DA and she was instrumental in getting him put back into the mental institution.

Now Hubbert is coming out again.

Karen Thorpe had to leave as a deputy DA.

George Gascona was retaliating against her for being a whistleblower,

removing her from management, demoting her.

And now he's pretending that he's trying as hard as he can to stop

Christopher Hubbard from being placed in Juniper Hills.

Let's get Karen Thorpe on to talk about all this.

Karen, how are you? I'm hanging in there. How are you, John?

Thank you for coming on yesterday. That was quite an expose that you did, telling us the story of Christopher Hubbard and George Gascon.

It's a story that needs to be told, and it's one of many, but a shocking and a horrific

example of the failures of George Gascon and of the California Correctional System.
