He ran for Deputy DA, and he was one of the two candidates that we endorsed.

But he did not make the runoff.

Gascon and Nathan Hockman did.

And McKinney is throwing his support behind Nathan

Hoffman. So is Maria Ramirez. And she was, she is another deputy DA who ran against Gascon.

And McKinney and Ramirez both got their share of votes. Excuse me, but not not enough to get to

the runoff. Anyway, today they had a press conference,

and McKinney and Ramirez said they're going with Hoffman.
