We're going to talk to Carl DeMaio. Carl DeMaio has been on our

show many times. He's not only been in office in the city of San Diego, but he has been running

an organization called Reform California for a number of years, getting behind all sorts of

referendum and candidates and just, just all kinds of political movements to change

things here in the state. Carl is now going to be a member of the assembly. He ran for office

and he won. He's going to be in the state legislature. And Carl is already raising a big issue.

Gavin Newsom, his first act after coming back to California,

and he saw that Donald Trump won the election,

is to call a special session of the legislature because they want to appropriate money,

your tax money, they want to spend money, your tax money,
