And it's entertaining because the stakes are not existent.

You may have heard last week that the owner of the Los Angeles Times, Patrick Sunshion,

had told his editorial board, we are not endorsing a presidential candidate this year.

Now, one of the writers had already written a pro comma editorial. And he said no.

He goes, why don't you publish a chart listing the pros and cons of the two candidates and let

the readers decide. Well, holy hell has broken loose. I mean, three editors resigned. Newsroom is in an uproar.

The owner's, I'm sorry, the owner's daughter is claiming online that it was a family decision

because of Kamala Harris's war policies towards Israel,

that Kamala was too supportive of Israel

and the war in Gaza.

But Patrick, the father says, no, that's not true.

That's not the reason.

So you have father and daughter publicly disagreeing on the reason.

And you have thousands of people canceling their subscriptions, which is really bizarre because

the LA Times endorsing a presidential candidate changes nothing. First of all, we're in California,

and she's going to win California, no matter what,

and get the 55 electoral votes. Secondly, hardly anybody reads endorsements. Why would you read?
