We have a crime poll going on on Instagram and Twitter because we were playing clips yesterday of the press conference, politicians and activists promoting no on Prop 36.

And there was one woman, Lola Smallwood Kuwait, Kuwaitis. She's a state senator.

And she was claiming crime was down. So we asked you to vote. Your perception,

you don't have to look up any statistics, although we know what those stats are. Just based on

what you've experienced in life. On Instagram, 97% of our audience says crime is up. Only 3% say

crime is down. And those were three prisoners from state penitentiary.

On Twitter, 89% says crime is up. Only 11% says crime is down. So people are growing resistant to all

the politicians and the L.A. Times insisting that what we see and what we experience is not

here. And I guess the polling all around the state.

Prop 36 is winning 71 to 26.

You know, the polling is a reflection of what people are actually experiencing.

You know, George Gascon keeps saying crime is down, but fear is up.

Well, he's half right.

Fear is up because crime is up. And it's not just me saying it.

First, it's the California Department of Justice saying it.

They actually looked at countywide statistics.
