Ryan Routh is the guy that the FBI says wanted to kill Trump at the golf course in West Palm Beach.

And Ralph apparently sent a letter to a witness some months ago, long before this threat

developed.

And he was talking about assassinating Donald Trump.

There has been some evidence that they've gathered together. And we're going to discuss the latest with Don Mahalik.

Good. How are you?

I am doing fine. Tell everybody about what this letter was about. He was

referencing an assassination of Trump going back some months ago before all this happened.

Yeah, from what we know presently is he wrote a series of four letters that he put in a box that he sent

to someone. They haven't identified who they went to and there were some other items in the

box. And in the letters, he expressed regret for not being successful in his attack, or

at least in one letter. We don't know what the other letters say. But essentially, he

fully admits to plotting in the letter to assassinate former

President Trump and wanted, you know, stated his reasons, I guess, in the letter why he wanted to do it.

And why he was sorry it didn't work because my guess is he figured he wouldn't survive the assassination attempt.

And that's why he was apologizing for not finishing the job or whatever he said in his letter.
