Okay, we've just blown through the first hour.

Barreling into the second hour with, we're going to talk with Bill O'Saley in just moments.

Bill O'Saley is the Republican Assemblyman from the Inland Empire, and he's been trying to navigate for us, trying to, he's like acting as a tour guide,

the insanity in Sacramento.

They're in their final days of this session

before their summer break,

and they're trying to get a lot of major things past.

They've got to get a budget passed, for example.

And they have a looming deadline when it comes to the ballot in November.

900,000 people in the state did the unthinkable.

They signed a petition to put on the ballot a repeal of many parts of Prop 47.

And what it's going to, what it would do is institute actual

criminal penalties for repeat thieves, retail thieves, and repeat hard drug users would get a

choice of either going to treatment or going to jail. And then thirdly, it would create a class of

felonies involving a fentanyl dealing. This is all stuff that all the pro-criminal lunatics in

Sacramento hate. And there was a number of Democrats who got behind a retail bill theft package.

Retail theft package, like 14 bills, but really what it,

what it was designed to do is confuse and block the repeal of Prop 47. They had some

poison pin pill legislation that we've explained to you. That is, apparently they have trouble

getting this through all the Democrats so now they have an

idea of putting a competing crime initiative on the ballot November to confuse the prop 47 repeal
