All right. Leading up into this segment, I was reading some of the back and forth over the repeal of Prop 47.

It's emails that were leaked. Bill Assaili, the Inland Empire Assemblyman posted them on his ex feed today.

And if you're just joining us, the gist of it is, is that the Newsom administration,

specifically Dana Williamson, who's a top advisor, dates back to the Jerry Brown days,

she seems to be getting irritated with the CEO, Greg Totten, of the District Attorneys Association here in California.

They are the driving force to put the repeal of Prop 47 on the ballot, and they're really upset that

it's going to make the ballot. They've been trying various ways to either get it off the ballot

or get other legislation passed, a poison pill to interfere with the process.

And they're not running into any luck.

And she's been writing things.

It's amazing how you're incapable of taking a win.

The consultants you're working with haven't won

anything in a decade. And it's really rude that you agreed to a meeting and then backed out

and didn't reply. This is why no one wants to work with you. That's Dana Williamson, the

Newsome Aid, to Greg Totten, who's the CEO of the California District Attorney's Association.

And this is the level of negotiations that are going on right now.
