former sheriff Alex Villanueva. And this concerns district attorney George Gascon.

He's got an assistant district attorney named Diana Tehran. She's been charged with 11 felonies. She used to be a deputy public defender,

and she accessed illegally confidential files of 11 sheriff's deputies.

And then when she joined Gascones office, she used the information against those sheriffs' deputies.

And now there's an investigation and charges from the state attorney general.

And we're gonna talk now to Nathan Hockman, who's running against George Gascon for LA County DA.

This is quite a scandal.

What do you think she was doing here, Diana Tehran?

So first, what's actually shocking is that this is the first time that a senior member of a DA's management team

has ever been charged with criminal felony counts.

I mean, this is literally historic. And the person

who actually charged Diana Tehran was none other than California Attorney General Rob Bonta.
