| 0:00.0 | From the opinion pages of the Wall Street Journal, this is Potomac Watch. |
| 0:08.6 | U.S. employers at a quarter of a million new jobs on net, Bitcoin hits $100,000, and inflation |
| 0:15.9 | is still stubbornly stuck above 2%. Let's check in on the state of the economy with a little over a month |
| 0:22.4 | to go until President Trump takes over from Biden next year on January 20th. Welcome, I'm Kyle Peterson |
| 0:29.1 | with the Wall Street Journal. We're joined today by my colleagues, columnist Alicia Finley, |

| 1:54.2 | despite the balance back, is actually a little lower than job creation than was earlier this |
| 1:58.5 | year. We've got average around 180,000 for the last three months. |
| 2:02.6 | And it's steady as she goes, right? So it's not a bad job number. It's not like the job or the labor |
| 2:07.8 | market is super tight either. This is kind of where you think is it's in the Goldie lock zone for the |
