once again we're going to go back in time here in Reds lore and we're going to we're going to make

this podcast a little tougher a little grittier today because we welcome in like all I'm Ronnie. Oh

Cincinnati's own Ron Oster Reds Hall of Famer. Ron Oster. Ronnie, how you doing? I'm doing good Jim

real good. I just enjoying the grandkids and doing some stuff around the house working at the

built tarot park and just having a good time. Well that's where I wanted to start of where you know

what's going on nowadays so grandkids eh? What's that experience like? No it's there's nothing

like it I'll tell you that I have eight of them now and the first one was a girl and said last

seven more boys and the old says 10 the youngest is one and I thought to I'll take 10 more. You know

the good thing about that is you can spoil the heck out of them and give them back you know you

can get rid of them but it's great really it's it's uh it's the best world right here. That's

right. I'm trying to figure out how to have grandkids without having kids. I've heard that before

actually about the grandkids it's like great it's a great experience. You got to be got to me

then you can give them back it really is it's it's there there's something else. Do you already have

the boys sliding hard into second base and oh yeah you know well like you're not gonna do that

anymore. No you don't have to bring up a double play you know that's just bring up a double

play anymore. I had somebody asked me a while back you know you want to get back to the base

boys. Well no that's it. How I said how am I going to tell somebody not to bring up a double play

that could win you a game. You have to be thankful for the the era that you did play in
