Good. I feel like my enthusiastic tone is more than I meant to bring today, but I'm doing fine. Yeah.

I felt like I meant to sound more enthusiastic than I did. So we're averaging. Let's meet the middle.

officially in October, which is very exciting to me everybody knows

everybody knows it is my favorite month of the year and i love the fall and i love the season's

changing and i just love spooky season i love it for you yeah yeah always have, you've always humored me with my love of Halloween and spooky things. I do. And it totally comes from like not growing up doing Halloween stuff. So as an adult, like I feel like I kind of want to participate, but I also feel a little old to participate. Not that you participate, but I'm just kind of like, I can't just dress up more than my kids do. Like, that's a little odd, but I kind of have fun with it. So I'm not great with the decorations because it still scares me. I'm still scared of things like ghosts and all of that. But I do have fun kind of like picking, you know, I like to pick some stupid thing that nobody will ever. Nobody's ever guessed my costume on the first try. Never ever. Yeah. Well, I go too weird. I do weird stuff. I did Queen Elizabeth Holmes. Yeah, exactly. Yours are just very specific. So there's no way anybody could ever guess them.

Right. I have a target audience and that target audience is me. And that's it. Hey, Halloween is for you. Your costume is for you anyway. So there you go. Yay. All right. I'm very excited about it. Excited for you. And I'll join along. All right. We're going to get right into the episode this week. We are headed across the pond to the UK for a ghastly story that sounds more like the plot of a Hollywood

production than a real life crime that actually took place. On March 22nd of 2009, a farmer named

Roger Kingsley was up and Adam already out in his fields by seven o'clock in the morning,

ready to commence with the daily farm chores.

Roger's farm was over 500 acres and had these massive fields of crops.

And with each field, sometimes there would be several days that would go in between these fields getting tended because there's just so many, right?

And there's only one Roger. Right. So he would go make his rounds. And as I said, it would take him maybe a few days to make his way back around to the beginning and start over again. Being a farmer sounds like such daunting work. It does. Oh, I like how you explain that, though. That's a great word. I would have just been like,

being a farmer sounds hard, and that's as far as I've got. No, daunting's a great word for it.

And just imagine you take a day off and you're like, oh my gosh, I've killed a quarter of my crops.

Just not be able to get to it. Yeah. Terrible. Terrible. So as you might imagine, the preferred mode of transportation on the farm was a tractor, which

is what Roger was driving when he spotted something that didn't belong in his field.
