that had happened in the past, I mean, we have to begin there with Mike White. Give me a comp.

Is there a Mike White comparable situation?

The only one I can think of for the Jets.

This is going way back, but I'm sure you'll know it,

is when Vinny Testa Verdi got hurt and then it was like

Rick Meyer the punter played a game Ray Lucas and they kind of went 500 with Bill

Parcells but they were still like a good and competitive team and they were there all the way to the end had a great defense and you didn't want to face that team despite the weird quarterback situation. The more apt comparison maybe is Mark Sanchez where it's a dominant defense with very

spotty quarterback play but the fact that it's the but the fact that it's not even the

starter though at least Sanchez was a starter is there a Jets comparison for what is going on?

So I get Robert saw me this comparison that's an interesting one and everyone that follows me knows I am not a Russell

Wilson person, but he made the comparison to they paid all this money to Matt Flynn everything's invested in Matt Flynn and they draft Russell Wilson third end of the third round Michael was a fifth round

pick but just for the comparison dominant defense dominant running game

really well coached and Russell Wilson kind of was able to do enough get the

ball to these guys hands and I don't hate that comparison just from the aspect of they the

know the Jets have all this invested in Zach Wilson you know you want to stick with them as long as you can but there's just a guy that's playing better than him right now it's better for the team so that was one comparison I saw I saw Mark Riddell comparison of just like a later round guy

Dack as well those type of players I'm not saying he's that. It's just it's like the player that's you know the day two day three pick that kind of just beats out the guy that you know maybe was supposed to be the guy.
