Summary

This Sunday, Pastor Jon continued our Fall sermon series, The Jesus Stuff, with a clarifying teaching on the what the Kingdom of God actually is and what it looks like to seek it first in our world today. The Kingdom of God is the reality of God bringing about His will on earth. The gospel of the Kingdom is a threat, and pursing it will bring resistance into our lives, but we cannot do The Jesus Stuff without the Kingdom stuff.

0:45.2	I want to start tonight with a question, and I want you to answer it as clearly as you can in your minds. Here's a question. What is the kingdom of God? What is the kingdom of God?

0:58.5	someone who says, I'm a follower of Jesus,
1:01.6	Jesus taught that you were to seek first
1:04.1	the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
1:08.1	So what have you been seeking?
1:11.7	Seek first the kingdom.
1:13.5	What is that kingdom?
1:17.3	If you don't have clarity on the kingdom of God, what have you been seeking?
1:22.9	And most of you would be like, well, I've been seeking, like, my relationship with God.
1:28.6	I love that.
1:30.9	The kingdom of God's bigger than your relationship with God.
1:33.5	What is the kingdom of God?
1:35.3	So that's, it's such an important question.
1:39.4	We're in a series called the Jesus stuff, and Jesus' central message was the kingdom.
1:44.2	And all of Jesus' stuff happened in light of the in breaking of the kingdom.
