Before we really jump into the scripture today, I know a lot of you increase giving

towards the end of the year for various reasons.

So over the next several weeks, we're going to go out of our way to kind of go in depth

with some updates that your generosity through the Move initiative is accomplishing already.

And one of the goals we have with our Move initiative is regarding church planting.

And we're already, for years have been a church planting church where a bunch of the money

that we give goes to starting new churches and other places in the country.

We already had what I would

consider a pretty ambitious goal of launching four churches per year for at minimum the next five

years. And then when we launched the move initiative, our team decided to double that goal.

And they said we think we can launch 40 churches, eight per year, over the next five years.

And we've already launched seven of those

churches. We invest heavily in every, you can clap for that. I want you to know we invest heavily

in every single church plant, meaning if we wanted to, we could say we're a part of launching 100 church plants, and we could

find 100 church plants to give a few dollars to, and technically we'd be a part of those. But one of our

commitments is to not just throw money at church plants, but to also provide leadership, wisdom,

and backing for them on their leadership teams until they become self-governed.

And so that is why we have already launched one in New Orleans, two in Washington, one in Texas,

one in Maine, two churches in Florida.
