It is a pleasure to be able to sit in for him today.

It's official.

Afghanistan, the Americans have left Afghanistan.

The gates are closed.

Today's headline last plane carrying us troops leaves Afghanistan after 20 years.

US officials say the Pentagon said and I quote, we didn't get everyone out.

We wanted to get out and the spokesman said it without shame.

And I have to tell you as someone who's been paying attention to politics for

years, the last eight months have demonstrated just how little shame we have as

Americans as as Democrats really not, you know, not saying that you're a Democrat.

I'm not a Democrat.

I'm very much a conservative.

But why do we have so many conservatives?

Why do we have so many Republicans feeling shame?

I'll tell you why.

Because once again, we have a Democrat administration that has left Americans behind.

And it was horrible when it happened under the Obama administration.

It was horrible when Obama and Hillary Clinton, who was a secretary of state at the time,

abandoned Americans in their hour of need.
