to pull out an episode that I think deserves a bit more attention, but I'm going to do something

a bit different this week. I'm sharing an episode of a new podcast that I've been enjoying. It's called

Car Show and it's hosted by Eddie Altaman, a longtime editor at Car and Drive and

the chief brand officer at Hurst autos.

Eddie thinks that all cars are great, even the awful ones,

but some cars transcend their carness.

On car show, he shares the stories of vital cars that have changed how we drive and live and the ones whose significance lie outside the scope of just

horsepower or miles per gallon. Now you may be wondering what

cars have got to do with war. Well there's a specific car that acted as a

breakthrough technology during the Second World War.

That is the Jeep.

The Jeep Wrangler was created in the 1940s to serve on the battlefield.

It glided into France on D-Day and it slogged through the bulge.

Today you're more likely to find the Jeep cruising around on a beach and on the front lines,

but they still remain true to their military roots.

Now Eddie talks about these, I suppose you can call them out of date

jeeps, these iconic older looking military rugged systems systems but they are one of America's most iconic

cars of all time and they still managed to sell so well. So here's a preview of
