0:00.0	Our last morning in Tokyo started like any other day of the trip.
0:04.0	We're eight days in, we've got three left to go, we're currently staying at the Park Hyatt,
0:09.0	and by this point the breakfast there had become kind of a tradition.
0:12.0	It was amazing. Every single person in the family looked forward to it.
0:16.0	It was the kind of breakfast you'd actually set an alarm for, even on vacation.
0:21.4	Amy was finishing getting ready, our oldest was almost ready to go, and our youngest, the
0:26.2	one we'd been worn for a year was going to be the unpredictable one, was spinning around
0:30.4	the room, dancing the way little kids do while we waited.
0:33.8	I was standing by the door watching her.
0:35.9	There was this low table, wood, sharp edges. She was
0:39.3	spinning on the carpet with her shoes on. She had her eyes closed, and I saw it before she did.
0:45.6	She slipped, hit the table on the way down, and fell over. She landed straight on the bridge of her
0:51.4	nose, and it did not look good. That was the moment our last
0:55.1	morning in Tokyo stopped being a vacation, and the moment I started learning a few things about
1:00.4	traveling internationally with a family that I really wish I'd known before we left. Like, which
1:05.0	credit card should I have put the flights on? What a Japanese ER actually costs? And a question
1:09.9	every traveler should probably answer before they get on the plane.
