Quote, the central cause of January 6th was one man. That is perhaps one of the most important sentences

from the January 6th committee's highly anticipated final report, which was released late Thursday night.

In a sprawling 845-page document, the panel lays the blame for the attack on the U.S. Capitol

directly at the feet of one man, Donald Trump, writing, quote, none of the events of January

6th would have happened without him. That Blockbuster final report concludes with nearly a dozen

proposals on how to prevent another January 6th,

including asking Congress to consider barring Donald Trump from ever holding public office again.

Now, this is not without precedent.
