it out with my guy, Perry, who's got pretty wild story of how he went about that. The original

plan for today was to do things that I thought would be true before and after the NFL

combine. And then of course, the AJC broke the story on Wednesday that there was a worn out

for jailing Carter's arrests for reckless driving and racing, both of which were misdemeanor charges.

Police determined that Carter was racing the other car that night, that channel of LaCroix,

the Georgia staffer and Devon Willock, the offensive lineman for Georgia, the night that they

tragically lost their lives. That was also the same day that Georgia held its national championship

parade. The report also added that LaCroix again, a Georgia staffer was driving 104 miles an hour

and that she was more than twice the legal alcohol limit. The timing of this in real time only

added to the chaos because this broke 25 minutes before Carter was set to speak at the NFL

combine and Indianapolis. And obviously that didn't happen. He was able to return to the combine,

but to speak right after all this broke would have just been total chaos and just a bizarre scene.

But he instead released a statement that day pushing back on the quote inaccurate information

from numerous media reports and that he said all that when all the facts come to come to light

that he's going to be exonerated of all criminal wrongdoing. Carter then turned himself into Athens.

Athens Clark County police laid on Wednesday night and he was released 16 minutes later after

posting bomb, which was like, I think $4,000. What else do we know about this? Kirby smart

releases statement wherein he promised full cooperation with the legal process. Very different,

obviously, than the way that this happened with NATO. And obviously he wasn't in the middle of
