So here we have Trump with a once in a million image of defiance,

the blood streaming down his cheek, holding his fists up,

and we learned in the speech he was doing that

to reassure the crowd that he wasn't, that he wasn't, you know, dying and fight, fight,

fight. That's an image of this party. He gets up, he's he's reborn and the party with him is is

essentially riding a sense of destiny. He appears like the man of destiny. He's he's he's styled

himself that way and now events have confirmed it.

Man and myth have met

and it is an extremely powerful theme for a party to offer an electorate at a time of great national fear, it's a reassuring image and an image of strength.

And this is, think reinforced by the inspired choice of his vice president.
