Okay, Jack, that is of course the rallying call of Vice President Kamla Harris's campaign that we heard all week at the Democratic National Convention.

Tell us more.

Well, it means not going back to Trump, obviously, but also I think it means the Democratic Party is not going back.

It's not going back to the reflexive identity politics and sort of down with America politics that seemed to hang over the party in the last primary before the election and it was in this kind of dogged Harris.

American and Americans used 34 times, country or nation, 20 times, freedom

12 times, opportunity, 6 times, Democrats or Democratic Party zero.

The party isn't going back to partisanship, it isn't going back to reflexive leftism. This is a very

centrist sounding ticket and it's not going back to and the country is not going back to Trump.

Yeah, I've heard analysts say that this is the most patriotic

nomination speech at a convention that they've heard in a long time, especially coming from a

Democrat. And I think it was obvious that Democrats wanted to change the narrative of

their identity as a party. They have a new candidate at the top of the ticket and they want to move

forward into a new era for not just the ticket but the party as a whole.

Oh there's no question and I think the penultimate line of Harrison's speech, she spoke of the greatest privilege on earth, the privilege and pride of being an American.

And you know, that doesn't, according to the Times-Paul,

only 25% of Americans with college, with college degrees, agree that America is the

greatest country in the world.
