He's a one-time Marine intelligence Officer who served in the former Soviet Union,

implementing arms control agreements. And from 1991 to 1998, he served as the chief inspector

for the United States in Iraq, leading the search for Iraq's prescribed pro-weapons of mass

destruction. He was later a vocal critic of the American decision to go to war in Iraq.

He's also the author of nine books, including his latest disarmament in the time of

Parastroika, arms control, and the end of the Soviet Union. Welcome back to the show, Mr. Scott Ritter.
