0:51.2	We're in the eighth week of the Iran War, and things are starting to heat up, even though there's not kinetic action.
0:53.1	What do I mean by heating up? The Iranian government
0:57.3	has ceased to exist. We don't know, and the Iranians don't know, who holds power. There is the
1:06.1	Islamic Revolutionary Guard, there is the theocracy, there is the elected people in Parliament,
1:13.6	and there is a regular military. And those four groups operate in schizophrenic fashion.
1:20.6	Sometimes they freelance and appear very hard line and give press releases that they're not going to negotiate
1:28.9	and anybody who negotiates as a sellout and blah, blah, blah,
1:33.7	because they are afraid each faction of being called by the other two pro-Western
1:39.9	or not hard enough on the United States.
1:43.0	By the same token, sometimes they give off signals that they would like to negotiate,
1:50.1	because that is predicated on popular resistance.
1:54.1	When you get rumors, which are increasing, that the people are getting more and more restive,
1:58.9	some of them are being armed, then people think,
2:01.7	well, given the crimes that we have committed, should this revolution next time around succeed,
2:07.7	we're all going to have a collective noose around our neck.
