Everyone, welcome to ruin. This is Halle and this is Allison and this week we are playing

a movie from the vaults. Yes. This is one of our famous episodes that we recorded early

before we had another shating of how sound works. Yeah. So good equipment or a great team

with us. I mean, not that we didn't have good equipment and great people working with

us then, but it's certainly not the same as it is now. So what you're going to hear, what

you're about to hear will sound different, but not the empire voice. And we wanted to release

it because it's a much requested movie. It is the invitation, which I absolutely loved one of

the most iconic endings of all, you know, last 10 years in horror movies. I have said when people

ask about like movies that we've done that are the scariest or like I often reference and never

tell anybody what happens or like the plot or anything like that. I'm like the invitation at the

end like I have goosebumps and it's like hard for me to think about like the image and I haven't

even seen it. It's just you telling me about it. So it's a it's a treat. So we're happy to

present it. We just want to do this little intro to let you know this is recorded previously.

And also in keeping with our little storytelling. I was trying to think of stories about the worst

dinner party or the worst party or just weird parties. And I will say this is not the worst, but

I remember in my 20s living in Brooklyn and going to a Williamsburg party and walking in and

being like, Oh, no, these are cool, young people. I was like 22 years old. So I was like my god.

Yes. And the apartment was entirely white painted white floors. Like there was an armchair,

but it was like white wood. Like it was nothing was comfortable. There was like a bed in the middle

of the living room. And I was like, this is not my scene whatsoever. And I sat down. There was

like not well seating either. So I sat down on the floor next to the bed. And I look under the bed

and there's a white rabbit under there, which is like a living, a living breathing little white
