You want a basketball name? You want somebody who is a proven champion in the league. The Dallas Mavericks have gone out and gotten that man to

run this franchise. Their new president of basketball operations will be Maasai Ujiri.

He spent 12 years running the Toronto Raptors,

led them to seven consecutive playoff appearances,

won an NBA championship with Toronto in 2019.

Of course, bringing over Kauai Leonard in the DeRosen trade.

So a guy who's not afraid to make the big moves,

a guy that is a proven winner in this

league.

Of course, to be fair, Toronto did decide to move on from him about a year ago, it was last

July because I hadn't made the playoffs for three straight seasons.

But man of the available guys, it makes sense that you would like to see, get a shot to run this thing. He had to be way up there at the top of the list. I think he had to have been. You have and, you know, some of the names that we heard and we thought, man, it just doesn't feel like it's realistic for them to leave their situations to come to Dallas because it was Presti from Oklahoma City, what other names that were out there.
