What a kick-ass game that was last night.

Yeah, that is perfect.

That's exactly what it was.

I mean, if you were there, if you were tuning in, it was, you know, it's crazy to call it a measuring stick game because the stars have a pretty

sizable gap to Edmonton and the standings. But you know the history, back-to-back Western

Conference Final games. You know how, you know, Edmonton kind of took it to them in more ways

than one in last year's conference final. You know that you've got two of the best players on the

planet and they were coming in

with a lot to play for. The last time these two teams had met, the stars put up eight on them and

that felt like forever ago in November. So there were all of these reasons that just made last night

feel like a little bit bigger of a game than just your run-of-the-mill game here in early to mid-March.

And man, did the stars ever respond?
