I used to work with Nate Newton, who was an offensive lineman for the Dallas Cowboys

back on their 90s Super Bowl teams.

And Nate would always tell me that the season doesn't really matter until you get to Thanksgiving.

He goes, then you know at Thanksgiving, where are you, who are you, and can you make the playoffs

depending on how your final five or six games go?

He goes, like everything leading up to that, that's where you start to look about, okay, what do we need to do? And lo and behold, the Cowboys now is 6-5-1. The playoffs is a possibility. It is. It's a thought. At first it was like, hey, man, we don't see the E in front of our name, so we're always going to be in it. And now you look up and say, okay,

when you see the graphics about football teams in their playoff positioning and you have

in the hunt on the right side and the Cowboys are legitimately there with a 6-5 and one record.

So getting that win on Thanksgiving against Kansas City when you lose the turnover battle.

But it's only one, and that was early, and the Kansas City Chiefs did capitalize on it,

you were pretty safe with the ball out of that.

But you mentioned the play of the game in the last segment, and kind of focusing on this

offense in Brian Schottenheimerheimer as far as his play calling

goes and I thought toward the end of the game before we get back to the play of the game I thought

this end of the game to try and seal it and keep Kansas City from getting the ball back again was
