With all the ticket ranger segments we can pack into our cheek,

delivered to you daily in three, two, and one. Those Texas Rangers, they had their opening

series of the 2026 season, of course, over the weekend. Talked about it on Friday as they

lost on opening day last Thursday. They were off Friday, but did have two games over the

weekend on Saturday and Sunday

up there in Philadelphia. Saturday's game was quite chilly, and the Rangers had a nice lead,

coughed it up, and were able to pull out the win. But even before that, it's the scratching

of Jacob DeGrom. And you mentioned before the show saying, man, it's the scratching of Jacob de Grom.

And you mentioned before the show saying, man, it's cold out there.

You're wondering about if they're going to start him or not because of the weather.

And then at the very last second, you hear he has a stiff neck and he's not going to pitch.

Jacob Lats gets to start.

And now he's scheduled to make the start either Tuesday or Wednesday, which means he won't start the home opener. I know, which is strange. Just waiting to hold him for the home opener. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Maybe that was going to be the case, but it looks like Jacob de Grom wants to pitch on this road trip. So we'll see how the rotation shapes out after we had to skip start number one from Jacob de Grom.

Yeah, because they'll be, as you mentioned, they're on the road in Baltimore for the next three.

They've got Monday, Tuesday.

It's a getaway game, a noon first pitch on Wednesday, oddly enough, 1230.

And then, of course, they'll be off Thursday before coming home for the six- opening homestand of the year but yesterday man it's really nice to see not just yesterday Saturday as

well but yesterday we did get to see mackenzie gore his ranger debut and i thought for the most part

till the end there when he got a little walkie and hit that dude and been run home. But man, for the most part, he was cruising pretty good early on. Very good. And then he gave the first hit that he gave up as a ranger was the little squibbly hitting down third base that stayed in. I know, I know that stayed in. But, man, you, and man, you mentioned about BASIC and how good he is on the telecast and he really
