How about those Texas Rangers?

Because about a week ago, everybody, for the most part, felt like we were burying them.

And then they go, yeah, well, double birds to you as they sweep the Royals.

Then they go to St. Louis, who was a team that was well over 500,

and they've won two out of the first three.

So they have a five-game win streak after their win last night,

a game in which they were down with Nathan Avaldi on the mound,

two nothing and manufactured some runs to tie the game in the fifth,

and small-balled their way to pulling out the win there in the top of the ninth.

Absolutely.

And, oh, no.

Uh-oh.

Well, there goes the boys. It was here. All right, he's back. It was nice to get a win with Avaldi on the mound when he clearly did not have the command that he normally does. One, I thought, I think, what do you give up? 11 hits, something like that. I thought they skipped probably shouldn't have brought him out there for the seventh inning.

I was surprised by that.

It cost him a victory, actually.

But this game was fun for something that we have not seen really in the last year and a half

is a back and forth game that you win.

And especially when they go down early. They had to come from behind

in this one. They did. And they just don't do that. Their record is really good when they score first.

Right. But when they don't, it's not good. And they've played so much boring baseball where they get

down three runs and you just say, well, the game's over, right? You're not going to come back from that. Right. So it was good to see them have an entertaining game where you battled back and forth and eventually won. And it was neat to see, to your point, not only did they come from behind, but when they coughed up the lead, when Avaldi coughed it up there in the bottom of the seventh, and you end up tying the game, going into the top of the night, they were able to manufacture runs.

I mean, they had seven runs scored without hitting a home run and doing some of those things that we've kind of been talking about of hitting and sack flies and advancing the runner and taking advantage of situations
