This news came out yesterday during the hardline, and that was the big news that the Dallas Mavericks, we all knew that they were looking at a couple of sites for a new arena and entertainment complex.

Really felt like it was between the Dallas City Hall area, which is downtown Dallas,

or this other area, which honestly seems prime for something and has for years,

the old Valley View Mall location, which is at 635 in Preston, right there by the North Dallas

Tollway, To, tollway pretty much.

So it used to be many years ago, because I used to roll over there in the late 90s when

Valley View Mall was around because Galleria Mall was super fancy.

So if you were around that area, you'd end up going to Valley View Mall.

And it seemed like there was a lot of other stuff over there in that area.

When I got out of college in the early aughts, we looked at a bunch of apartments that are right around there.

And I remember it being a cool area.

And this was back, I mean, man, at this point, what, 25, almost 25 years ago.

So you're looking at an area, even Addison to some degree,

and they've built up the east side of the tollway,

but used to be all those places like Sam's boat and Dukes over there

on the west side of the tollway.

And they've chosen that area.
