I remember one time the summer bash may have been on Juneteen. Had to have been, because there's always around this time.

And this one is, again, I don't know if I've told you this before.

I had to sit last year.

I don't know if you remember.

I've definitely had said this before, but this was my grandfather's absolute favorite holiday.

And growing up, we celebrated this ever since I can remember. I think it was

1980 was probably the first time I truly remember going out celebrating because we would go down to

Maheia, down to Comanchee Crossing, Comanchee Peak. And they had a huge Juneteen celebration there.

And that's when I want to say a couple people may have lost their lives, drown in the lake and the water, something like that.

If my memory is serving me correctly, I hate to say that that's what you really remember,

but that's what sticks out as far as the celebration of Juneteenth. And man, my mom and her two sisters,

they go visit their parents' grave on Juneteenth and maybe go out to eat. So it's just been a

huge thing in my family forever.
