Let's talk a little Texas Ranger trade day.

They have yet to make a move today.

The Major League Baseball Trade deadline is coming up.

We are now six hours away from the deadline at 5 o'clock this evening.

And the Rangers have been rumored to be tied on a couple of different back end of the bullpen arms.

See, Hunter Harvey is a name that is being linked.

Pete Fairbanks, they have checked in on.

So we'll see if they end up being able to work something out

with some of the restrictions that they have in regards to the CBT,

where they do not want to cross that.

But who knows? Feels like they want to do something. But who knows?

Feels like they want to do something.

Will they do something?

Time will tell, and by time I mean six hours.

But they have been very aggressive over the years in making trades.

And some of you who have been around for a while,

or if you are a Rangers fan,

you will remember this one very well because

Mark Tashara was traded from Texas after being drafted fifth overall in 2001, a homegrown

All-Star, a gold Glover. It came to a point where the Rangers were just not going to compete at the level they wanted.

And he was by far the biggest chip that they had at the trade deadline.

And on July 31st of 2007, if I remember correctly, they traded Mark Tashara to the Atlanta Braves for a hall of players.
