And I think last night kind of lived up to the bill. Cowboy fans probably had a gamut of emotions before they ultimately got in the clock, but I think it was well worth the watch for him.

I'm curious, before we get into the picks that were actually made, what were you thinking going into this when you started to hear, okay, Pickens is going to sign the tag, and there was the idea that they're kind of interested if Jordan Tyson was there at 12.

Did you start to think that maybe there's a pickings trade on the table, that something

quite different than what we all thought was in the works?

Yeah, I tweeted a gif from Always Sunny where he's kind of connecting all the dots and going

freaking out because the timing was weird. And I'll tell you what, I first heard someone had texted me earlier in the week saying, like, hey, keep an eye on for a potential pickings trade if they, you know, and maybe they dropped your receiver. And I was like, there's no way. And then the interest in Tyson started coming up. And then, you know, they unsolicited said at the Wednesday press conference, hey, you know, by the way, we're just not going to negotiate long term with George. And then hours before the draft, he signs, news comes out that he's going to sign his franchise tag tender, which would make him eligible to be traded.

And I was connecting all the dots, and all of a sudden, I was kind of almost expecting it to happen last night, to be honest with you.

But then, you know, it also was contingent on one thing. There was one more shoot-a-drop, and that meant a receiver being available, that they thought could be a comparable Batman, or a Robin to CD-Land-Batman there at 12.

And as, you know, once Jordan Tyson win, once Cardinal's Day win, I kind of said, okay, this thing

is probably not going to happen.

And by the end of the night, they were pretty adamant.

George Pickens was going to be a cowboy in 2026.

And they almost expect him once he signs his tender to be there on Monday for voluntary

workouts.

We'll see about that.
