The Cowboys, they take down the Jets, and a big part of that yesterday was none other than

Giovante Williams, who ran for 135 yards.

That is a career high for him.

That is the most that he has had in his career.

His previous career high was 111.

And the third 100-yard rushing game of his career.

He last rushed for 100 yards back in 2021.

He had 102, so those are the only three.

135 yesterday, 111, 102, the only 3 100-yard rushing games of his career.

But, man, he has been absolutely fantastic.

In 11 games last year, and 139 carries with the Broncos, he had 513 yards.

And in five games, 79 attempts, he's already at 447 yards.

And by far, the most, well, not by far, but the most touchdowns he's had in a season in

his entire career, it was four coming into this year.

And he has five already.

So we didn't know what to expect during free agency when they signed him and Miles Sanders drafted Jaden Blue and Phil Maffa.

We were thinking, hey, let's draft the running back a little bit earlier.

See if we can upgrade this running back room because we

hadn't seen anything out of Javante Williams since his rookie season. Then he gets hurt. He blows out

his knee. But we knew one thing that he was really good out of the backfield, catching passes

out of the backfield. They really haven't had to use that because he's been so effective running

the football between the tackles, getting those tough yards.
