We had a little breaking news on Saturday while we were all out at ticket stock that the Dallas

Cowboys had agreed to a contract with their free agent running back, Giovante Williams.

And it is a three-year contract worth $24 million with the first two essentially guaranteed.

It's $16 million guaranteed.

So that will extend him and keeps him away from free agency.

He's a 25-year-old running back who will turn 26, I believe draft weekend.

It's later in April when he turns 26.

Had a fantastic season last year for the Cowboys, of course, as we know.

1,200 yards rushing.

The best season of his career averaged 4.8 yards per attempt, 11 touchdowns,

career highs across the board, started 16 games and really gave the

Cowboys that leads three down back that they had been trying to find for a while and especially a guy

that can pick up the blitz he was so good at that sticking his nose into corners the linebackers

coming in he had no fear with that and in his let's see, he had four-year contract with Denver.

His rookie contract was almost a little under $9 million.

And the deal he signed last year was just one year for $3 million.

I don't think their entire running back room costs $8 million last year.

And now they give Giovante costs $8 million last year.

And now they give Javante Williams $8 million a year,
