But those Dallas Cowboys last night making a couple of deals.

And I have to say that really like what they have done

because it feels like they're going out and getting guys

that have a lot of starting experience to shore up

some of the problems that they have had.

And again, we mentioned this.

They had 15 of their own free agents.

They only brought one back so far in Sam Williams. You can't, if you're trying to replace the

other 14 guys, you can't go out and get 14, 10 plus million dollar players. You need quality

at the $5 to $8 million a year level. They spent big on one guy in Jalen Thompson, as we know, the safety.

And then last night they went out and short up their secondary even more with the guy

with ample starting experience.

And that's Kobe Durant, the cornerback.

They bring him over from the Rams on a one-year deal that's worth up to $5.5 million.

In the last couple of years, he started 32 games, played in, again, just the last couple of years, played in about 75% of the defensive snaps. And that is an upgrade to the secondary. A guy that goes and gets the ball. He had three picks last year. Three picks in the postseason last year. Had had two and the Rams went over the Bears. Yeah, yeah, you did.

And he can play inside and outside. Yes, which they need. They definitely need the nickel spot. And Jalen Thompson with his position flexibility, that's what everyone was kind of talking about, why that's a good signing, because you can throw him in playing the inside if need be. He's a better safety, of course, but he has that position flexibility, as does Kobe Durant. So, yeah, you are just filling in places that you definitely need help because you don't know where Duran Bland is going to be injury-wise. You don't know where Chavon Revelle is going to be injury-wise. Kalin Carson. and they're all dealing with injuries, so you've got to have that depth there.
