Your Dallas Cowboys back in action in the preseason tomorrow night against the Ravens,

the return of Cooper Rush. And we have Saad Yousuf in here with us who does cover the Cowboys.

And he brought up a very interesting point this morning about one Brian Schottenheimer.

He really did because I think it's so easy to say as you watch the preseason, hey, what are you looking for? And what players you think are going to stand out? And do you do have Tyler Booker that's going to play? Yeah, you're going to have some eyeballs on him. Joe Milton will get the start and probably will play the majority of the snap.

So you're trying to see how he's going to develop and if he's going to be a useful backup quarterback.

But this has kind of been all about, and I think they're going about this preseason to Cowboys,

trying to get Brian Schottenheimer acclimated to not only be in the head coach, but calling

plays and doing everything else.

And so I jump in here because we talked about him winning this off season.

And a lot of people are saying, okay, I hear what he's saying.

I hear what he's throwing down.

And it feels like everything is coming together as far as his first time being a head coach.

But we're not going to know

until the bullets start flying truly in the regular season. But you kind of try to have to

get your head behind when he was first hired. And that was January 24th. Yeah, so you have to

understand the timeline of this, which January 24th, the Friday night at around 845,

I remember distinctly, that's around when the news came out, that he was being hired.

The introductory press conference was that Monday on January 27th.

And five days later, on February 1st, late night, Luca got traded.

And that was a huge story for the Metroplex, but just nationally.

I mean, that was a gigantic story.

And the wave of that rode for a long time.
