Last night was very excited for this.

Got home just in time to see the debut of Cooper Flagg as a Dallas Maverick in the Mavs Summer League out there in Las Vegas.

It's really interesting because to your point, we talked about this a little yesterday, man, you see these guys out there that you can tell are never going to play in the NBA.

That it's about as minor league as it can get guys that are just trying to keep the game alive.

But it's pretty obvious very quickly that some of these dudes, they're just, they're nowhere near the level.

It looked like the most intense game at L.A. Fitness you'll see.

It's a good way of putting it.

No disrespect to those guys because they would trounce me.

No, those guys on the court will trounce me.

I'm not saying I'm a good basketball player, but that's, yes.

And even the way that they play defense, again, it's weird to say,

but it will be easier to get a shot off when you're playing in the NBA

than playing in the summer league because those guys are trying to put everything out there.

Look what happened on the very first play.

The Mavericks won the tip.

Cooper Flag gets the ball.

He gets blitzed right off the top.

One guy just runs at him.

He gets double team 40-something feet from the basket.

Yeah, that was wild.

That's one of those things.

As soon as he touches, let him know that we're going to be here all day.
